Easy Ways to Get More Social Shares of Your Content

Now that Google is using social shares in their ranking algorithm, getting more mentions on every social platform is essential. There are two social sharing networks that make it much easier.

JustRetweet

Just Retweet has been around quite a while now. They always made it fast and easy to get more retweets, but you may not know that they also enable you to get Google Plus +1s.

It is so simple to use anyone can do it. JustRetweet is bound to keep growing. When a user logs in they will see your tweet request that looks like this:

They simply click one or more of the options provided:

  • Schedule Retweet (to share on Twitter)
  • Like (to like on Facebook)
  • G +1  (to add a +1 on Google Plus)

The regular tweet requests look just like that one, but without the Sponsored Tweet at the top. Social media savvy influencers log into JustRetweet all the time and can quickly support their collaborators. We know each other well enough to know what is safe to share. Users can click “report tweet” to have poor quality or objectionable shares deleted.

You can earn credits in JustRetweet if you have more time than cash.  Or if you don’t have the time to earn them, after you’ve been a member for a brief period you can buy credits inexpensively. There are more details in my JustRetweet review.

Viral Content Buzz

A newer social sharing platform we are all using is Viral Content Bee. Created by Gerald Weber and Ann Smarty (known for their MyBlogGuest blogging community), we use it along with JustRetweet to get even more shares.

After you join VCB, click on “Members Area” at the top right to start using it. Here is an example of what users see inside ViralContentBuzz:

This isn’t quite as easy as just clicking in JustRetweet because of the way StumbleUpon and Pinterest work – but how else can you easily get more stumbles and pins plus add to your tweets and likes you get from JustRetweet? Users just click the blue buttons for the social network they want to share on, then share as usual and paste the link into VCB.

VCB is also working on getting Google Plus capability. They currently do not sell credits, but most likely will in the near future. The ability to “report as low quality” keeps what you see worth sharing. You can read more about Viral Content Buzz in this VCB explanation by Gerald Weber.

These two sites are definitely worth using. Use them to find top quality content to share to increase your influence online and to promote your own sites and projects.
